You know how everyone was having all their sentimental feels about 2015, planning their resolutions for 2016? Hey, nothing wrong with that. I'm not judging you. It's just what this woman did raised the bar. Farrah Prudence (also seen: Watch this Ex-Muslim Woman Utterly Destroy Islam) took to YouTube with a rant, calling out our government for violating our right to free speech, adding that we've let them get away with enough crap already. Then she blasted Islam for good measure. Which was just the starting off point. Watch:

Here are some highlights:

One of the things I want to remind these [representatives] people? I am a citizen. I am not your subject. You did not give me my voice and you cannot take it away. And if I want to say that Muhammad was pedophilic war-monger, and anyone who views him as a idol is an enemy of the United States and an enemy of humanity? I can do that. There's not a darn thing you can do about it.

This is a mark. This is a stage in American history that shows our elected representatives have the audacity to think they can take away our rights.

We have a constitutional responsibility to keep our government in check. The point is not whether or not a bill is going to pass, it's that they had the audacity to try to pass it.

This is a downward spiral, we have to do something about it. We are quickly going downhill.

Americans, we have turned into whiny, self-absorbant people who are quick to know their rights, but slack when it comes to their duties and responsibilities.

Look at this past year, look at the 200 years of past history, and don't let it go to waste.

Boom goes the dynamite. This isn't the first time the idea of banning "anti-Islamic speech" has been brought up. Check out Attorney General Loretta Lynch, Wants to Prosecute 'Anti-Islamic' Speech....

House Resolution 569, which Farrah Prudence links to in her video, opens: "Condemning violence, bigotry, and hateful rhetoric towards Muslims in the United States." Which essentially means if this resolution passed, kiss your free speech goodbye. Also, this website? All we've said here about how Islam sucks? (Read Dear Liberals: Your Hypocrisy on Islam is Most Staggering of All...) You think they wouldn't come after us?

Part of the problem Farrah points out is the attitude that "oh, it'll never pass." Sorry, but we're past that point in the discussion. Resolutions like this should never see the light of day. If stuff like this keeps getting shoved down our throats, it's lights out for your right to free speech. If you want to read the rest of the crap that's in this resolution, go here. Farrah Prudence is mostly right. The only qualm I have is this: Americans have been calling their senators. They have been calling their congressmen. The problem is our elected government officials aren't listening to us. They don't care. Proof? Obamacare. Americans didn't vote for Obamacare, it was pushed on us. People in Washington D.C. are living in a bubble. Many of them are bought and paid for by lobbyists. Hence Americans' growing frustration with Congress. They've done virtually zero to stop Obama, even after Republican landslide victories.

We're with you, Farrah. We're sick and tired of it too. It's just hard to know what else to do...
