Two 16-Year-Olds Have Consensual Sex. Boy Gets Charged With Rape...
Rape isn't consensual. Can't believe that even has to be written. But because of screaming harpies like mattress girl, or any other neo-feminist... everything is rape. Even name-calling. Don't judge, it hurts. And what hurts is rape.
But what about having sex with a partner who is willing and the same age as you? Definitely rape, says Ireland.
A 16-year-old boy had consensual sex with a 16-year-old girl. She told her parents, who objected to the boy, and they had him taken into state custody and charged with statutory rape. He's out on bail, awaiting another court date. She was never taken into custody, because under the applicable law, she did not commit a crime. The applicable statute provides: "A female child under the age of 17 years shall not be guilty of an offence under this Act by reason only of her engaging in an act of sexual intercourse."
Yikes. Before continuing on, remember feminists are always screaming about "rape culture," and "the patriarchy." They also love to tell us about "slut-shaming" whenever they're not decrying how horribly women are treated just about all the time. Remember that.
Now, who goes home and blabs about getting laid to their parents? The only crime this boy committed was sleeping with a moron. I know what you're thinking. What could possibly be the point of this absurd law? It's obviously not discouraging teenage sex. If anything it's just sex insurance for girls. It gives girls the power to discount any poor sexual choice they make as rape. Blame it on the PMS? Blame it on anything. Change of heart. Change of mind. "I really wish I hadn't done that." It happens... All. The. Time. (read New Rape Rules for Feminism: "I didn't say no...but it's still rape!")
Look, I'm not saying kids should be having sex all willy-nilly. But there should either be legal consequences for both parties or none at all. This is problematic for both genders. Gender-queer and non-binary folk need not apply; they're probably never going to have sex in their lifetime anyway.
This is one of very few things both feminists and men's rights activists could (and should) unite on. This law implies that the girl can't consent and isn't responsible for her actions. So she's practically a non-person in the eyes of the law. Only the boy is. Only the boy has the power. But the boy is only half of the equation in a consensual sexual encounter. Ever heard of the birds and the bees?
This sort of thinking doesn't happen in only Ireland, though. It's happening in the States too (see New #SJW College Posters Say Nearly All Men Guilty of... Rape?). But we don't want that noise here. Let's raise our girls to be autonomous, responsible individuals. You know, what feminism claims to encourage but never does. Girl power.
Still unsure about what "rape" is and isn't? Watch this. You're welcome.
