#2020TheMovie is Movie We Never Knew We Wanted, But We All Need Right Now
2020 is a bad movie. You know it. I know it. 2020 knows it. We're now in the phase when greedy writers decide to split the final part into an unnecessary series that even has Peter Jackson rolling his eyes (see THIS CHART SHOWS WHEN THE SECOND COVID OUTBREAK STARTED. SPOILER: IT'S BECAUSE OF THE PROTESTS AND RIOTS! and THIS UNPROVOKED KNIFE ATTACK ON A NYC SUBWAY IS HORRIFYING). Usually you wait a few years before making a movie about world events. But that was how we did things in the good old days, before 2017. Now, pioneering filmmakers document history as it unfolds. Behold, #2020TheMovie. Staring Chris Hemsworth, Kathy Bates, Tyler Perry and everyone else not seen in a cringe celebrity montage video set to John Lennon socialist anthems.
Until the announcement of the official release date, enjoy this montage of the stars at various press junkets.
2020 The Movie: Cast Interviewsyoutu.be
Congratulations, Power Tie. You're the real MVPs.
Be honest. When you first saw this movie poster, you rolled your eyes because you had the same thoughts I did about what a Hollywood movie about 2020 would be like. Then, you slowly transformed into something like this:
A solid cast.
Set aside the obvious problems of a foreigner playing Donald Trump. Especially one who's unapologetically appropriated Norse immortals in more movies than should've been allowed. But you tell me when Jason Alexander came up to play Brian Stelter you didn't wet your pants.
These are the celebrity montages the world needs now. We don't need sanctimony. We don't need lectures. We need people who play dress-up to do what they do best: dress up and entertain us. You'd think that's mocking the entire profession of acting, but it's not. Entertainment is important to lift spirits. If celebrities wanted to be valuable to their society, they'd do what they do: entertain.
I swear that's the only serious segment about an obvious parody video. But it's a point Courtney felt needed to be made. Hashtag no apologies.
