Recently we talked about how some schools are updating their curriculum to be extra open-minded (Third Graders Forced to Read Transgender Book About 'Boy in Dress'). Without parents' permission, mind you. Meanwhile a little boy wants to hand out Bible versesnear his school. Their response? Call the cops.

The young boy distributed the Bible verses while standing on a public sidewalk outside the school. He also shared other verses and short Bible stories among his friends, until a first-grade teacher saw one of those notes. The teacher reportedly publicly rebuked the boy, and then called his parents, warning them that such actions go against the separation of church and state.

The boy, however, allegedly continued to distribute Bible verses out at the school gate, and subsequently he and his parents were told by the school's principal that what they were doing is not permitted. Later that day, a Los Angeles deputy sheriff went to the family's home to inform the parents that Desert Rose Elementary School had filed a report against the child for sharing Bible verses.

A simple parent-teacher meeting would have sufficed here. Instead, the school got so spooked they had to waste the local sheriff's time. It's not like the boy brought a fake clock bomb to school.

Look, I get it. Don't want to be affiliated with any one religion? Fine. Still, I get the creeping suspicion that if this school stomped on a little kid handing out LGBT pamphlets instead of Bible verses... There would be public outrage. Because, like Obama said, LGBT's constituents are the new "protected class." But Christians? Well, they get the fuzzy end of the lollipop (see here, here, here, here, and here).

That's the irony of the left. They claim to care about the rights of minorities. Just not minorities who disagree with them. (Caitlyn Jenner Endorses Ted Cruz. Gay Liberals RAGE!) Anyone who dissents must be silenced... For tolerance.

Still don't think there's a war on Christianity? That's the wrong question to ask. There is absolutely a war on Christians. The question is why. Why send the cops to tell a little boy to stop spreading the gospel, when it's totes cool to talk about men who want to be women? If you think I'm going to answer my own question, I've become far too predictable. So here's a monkey.

Christians believe there's a higher power greater than the almighty Government. Christianity believes in right and wrong. It calls for its believers to follow Christ's ways, namely not being a heathen. Which kind of runs contrary to the devil may care hedonism peddled by the left, doesn't it?

Judgement? Right and wrong? Not okay to kill your unborn baby? Marriage as man and woman? HATE SPEECH. STOP THE KID WITH the Jesus fish!
