Thanks Obama: 12 Gitmo Prisoners Released. Yeah, They've Already Killed Americans...
The Obama Administration wanted to release prisoners from Gitmo before closing Gitmo, and anyone with half a brain (ruling out most who make decisions in the Obama Administration) would point out that the prisoners will just return to the battlefield to kill more Americans. You knew it, I knew it. Well not to put to fine a point on it, but it's happening. Released Gitmo prisoners (terrorists) are killing Americans. Try to hide your shock.
The Obama administration believes that at least 12 detainees released from the prison at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba, have launched attacks against U.S. or allied forces in Afghanistan, killing about a half-dozen Americans, according to current and former U.S. officials. In March, a senior Pentagon official made a startling admission to lawmakers when he acknowledged that former Guantanamo inmates were responsible for the deaths of Americans overseas.
The problem here is quite obvious, no? These people were locked away. In prison. Because they were terrorists. Not because they were past due on their taxes. They were terrorists. Then along came Obama, Hater-Of-America-In-Chief, who said, "Prison for terrorists is like, super mean. Release those little powder puffs." So they were released. Like all fairytales, this one ended with said terrorists snuffing out Americans...
The official, Paul Lewis, who oversees Guantanamo issues at the Defense Department, provided no details, and the Obama administration has since declined to elaborate publicly on his statement because the intelligence behind it is classified.
"Classified." Is that what we're calling it now? Methinks it's more like getting caught with your pants down. At your child's parent teacher conference. And you neglected to wear boxer shorts. Laundry day is a bitch.
But The Washington Post has learned additional details about the suspected attacks, including the approximate number of detainees and victims involved and the fact that, while most of the incidents were directed at military personnel, the dead also included one American civilian: a female aid worker who died in Afghanistan in 2008. The officials, who spoke on the condition of anonymity to discuss a sensitive matter, declined to give an exact number for Americans killed or wounded in the attacks, saying the figure is classified.
In other words, we have no idea how many Americans, these FORMERLY DETAINED TERRORISTS have killed. Allow me to translate what's actually going on here, but since you're intelligent, probably don't need the translation: Obama screwed the pooch. Epically. But rather than saying, "Whoopsy, those bad guys I thought weren't that bad? Turns out... kind of bad. Me is sooooper sorry."
We don't know how many Americans are dead. But sure, let's just sweep this crap pile under a fancy Muslim prayer rug. It's adorned with sticks of dynamite.
Also, the classified number being more than zero is the problem.
No, they're hiding behind "classified" information. They're also hiding behind leftism, the belief that excellence should be shamed, degenerates should be elevated, American values are no better than any other values, and Islam is the Religion of Peace (TM).
I want to make this clear: terrorists belong in prison... as a second option. I would personally prefer death as option one, but getting some intel out of these turds has its perks. So prison instead of death? Considering they're murderous fecal bags, kind of a nice deal. There are worse punishments. No, Justin Beiber tracks on repeat is not an option. Let's be human here. There are limits. But certainly being blown up by a drone is an alternative to a quaint little cell with the occasional interrogation. I'm just saying a little stint in Gitmo, compared to the alternatives, not that bad a gig.
Because, Gitmo? Kind of a nice place to hang out if you're used to hanging people for kicks (yes, terrorists do that). Check it out:
