Have you ever tried to get a concealed carry permit in California? It's easier to turn Lena Dunham into a beauty queen. Though you may puke less. According to the law, you need "good cause" to carry a concealed weapon. Also, "good cause" can mean anything... Just not whatever reason you have. You silly! A few (of many) stonewalled applicants for said permit brought their complaints to court. Because hey, what about the Second Amendment? Isn't your right to bear arms good cause in itself? Yeah, that didn't jive.

The en banc court held that... the right of a member of the general public to carry a concealed firearm in public is not, and never has been, protected by the Second Amendment. Therefore... any prohibition or restriction a state may choose to impose on concealed carry - including a requirement of "good cause," however defined - is necessarily allowed by the Amendment.

You may be familiar with this case. This recent decision happened in an appeals court. The original ruling actually took place in 2014. It sided with the denied applicants, stating that the right to bear arms is good cause. Except that didn't sit well with the People's Socialist State of California officials. So they quickly inserted themselves and that's how we got here.

The decision overturned a 2014 ruling by a smaller 9th Circuit panel and came in a lawsuit over the denial of concealed weapons permits by a sheriff in San Diego County. California officials sought to intervene in the case after the San Diego sheriff declined to appeal.

The moral of the story? Eventually government gets what it wants. If we do not stop them. More accurately, leftists get what they want. Again, if we do not stop them. But let's also note how the left gets what it wants, shall we? Not by the vote, not by legislaion, but via a court. Courts, not the people, have been oppressing people with unpalatable laws for too long. For example, gay marriage. States were voting on the issue. Then along came SCOTUS. Gay over. I mean "game" over. Also abortion. Whether you're for or against it hasn't mattered. The issue has never been taken to a ballot box. A 1973 SCOTUS ruling created a law. All of this is kind of funny when you hear leftists like Bernie Sanders and his zombie base saying big words like "democracy." Think about that for a second.

But according to them, you're just a paranoid conspiracy theorist if you're passionate about retaining your rights (see Leftists Say, "Nobody's Coming For Your Guns!" Yes They Are...). Freedom? Passé. Throw it out the window along with the unwanted babies.

So yes, the left is coming for your rights. Yes, they're coming for your guns. They're doing it incrementally, like they always do. They're slowly marching toward your gun rights, just as they've slowly trampled on your freedom of speech and religious rights.

You're not paranoid. You're not a conspiracy theorist. Well, you might be if you're convinced the lizard people are after you, but no judgements here. They ARE coming for your guns. Go buy ammo after you watch this video.
