NRA Releases Powerful New Ads Featuring Real, Strong Women...
Leftists favorite boogieman, especially lately, seems to be the NRA...who hasn't been shy about defending themselves (see Ouch. NRA Releases New Brutal Anti-Hillary Benghazi Ad… and NRA Features Transwoman in California Ad. Lt. Governor Flips…). They just released two more ads, that anti-women leftists (who claim to be super pro woman but actually want women to be helpless lambs) aren't going to like. Which means we obviously love these ads.
Antonia has been told her whole life that as a black woman she shouldn’t support the Second Amendment, that she shouldn’t want to have the right to protect herself, and that she should fall in line. Antonia didn’t listen. She’s a millennial woman who refuses to be put in box. Antonia doesn’t care what names anti-gun bigots call her. She refuses to be a victim. And she’s talking to women just like her every day.
I don't want to assert my cis-white privilege at all here, but I have to imagine if one is a black woman with a gun, rebuking the memes of the day, has to be hard. I say this because whenever I voice opposition to the feminists, I get the lecture fest about "equality for women" and "don't I know what feminism means." So here this woman is not only rebuking feminism, she's having to rebuke the predominately leftist culture that's permeated the black community.
But she armed up anyway. Hoorah.
Now for the second ad, this woman takes on a popular leftist talking point...
Kim was a 20-year-old college student when a predator broke into her off-campus housing complex and assaulted her in the middle of the night. Today, she is a mother of two, and if anyone ever tries to harm her family or her again, they’ll need to go through her firearm first.
So she was actually raped while going to college. Her solution wasn't to carry a mattress around on her back. Her solution was not to coin some hashtags (though they're likely weren't hashtags back when she was in college). Her solution was to ensure she was never a victim again. She armed up.
I'm sure you noticed the common theme here: Guns provide actual, real, female empowerment. A gun is going to keep a woman far more safe from predators, of any kind, than any hashtag or feminist talking point delivered via the greasy harpies of YouTube. You know who you are. Wash your hair, I can smell you from here.
So if the feminists really were about "female empowerment" if they really were champions for "sexual equality," each and everyone of them would lock and load. We've seen it time and time again, guns are the great equalizer. Will a gun guarantee your safety? No, of course not. But it's sure going to give you a fighting chance, a better chance, than if you didn't have a gun.
Leftist attacks on the Second Amendment will most likely keep coming in an election year, and grow to be more and more ridiculous. Arm yourself with facts. And if you're a feminist, soap. Lots of soap.
Now get yourself some facts. They matter.
