So a John Kerry walks into CNN to tell them that ISIS is on the run. Jake Tapper says, "Why the long face?"

Sorry, it's Sunday. Forgive me. Jake also points out Orlando, Nice, Paris and all the other attacks that make us wonder just which ISIS Kerry is talking about.

“What we believe this indicates, however, is that … ISIL in Syria and Iraq is under great, great pressure and people are acting out in various places, but they are not growing in their ability to do things. They are shrinking,” Kerry said. “They are on the run, and I believe what we’re seeing are the desperate actions of an entity that sees the noose closing around it.”

Tapper disagreed with Kerry saying, “With all due respect, sir, I’m not sure it looks that way to the public, that ISIS is on the run.”

The CNN host then proceeded to list off the recent terror attacks at the hands of ISIS in Orlando, Istanbul, Baghdad, and Nice saying, “This is just the last five weeks, and I don’t think ISIS is on the run and might be expanding.”

This is why so many of us are fed up with all the things. People like John Kerry don't get it. It seems that he genuinely thinks ignoring the horror of ISIS will make it go away. That if he speaks kindly of them, maybe, just maybe, they'll stop the decapitations, the burning alive, the oppression, the torture etc.

And this is why people like him are becoming increasingly out of touch with everyday Americans. What do most Americans want at this point? No more appeasement. No more kowtowing. No more apologies for Western civilization. No more. It’s time to tell these Islamic, pedophile, wife-beating wildebeests we’re fighting back. We’re going to hunt them down. We’re going to destroy them. Despite what nutless Lurch says.
