Facts were never on Marilyn Mosby's side when it came to prosecuting the police officers involved in the Freddie Gray case (see Freddie Gray’s Autopsy Changes the Narrative. Murder… or Accident? and Alan Dershowitz Says Baltimore Cops Are Not Guilty). So what does one do when everyone you are trying to prosecute gets acquitted?

If you're Marilyn Mosby, you apparently blame the justice system and make up more accusations. Basically, it's everyone else's fault but yours.

Mosby’s astonishing accusation was buried in the middle of the lengthy statement she read in front of cameras on Wednesday morning. It was made amid the portion of her remarks where she railed against what she saw as an inadequate investigation by the Baltimore police department.

“Lead detectives that were completely uncooperative and started a counter-investigation to disprove the state’s case,” Mosby said, shortly followed by the main accusation.

“Creating videos to disprove the state’s case without out knowledge. Creating notes that were drafted after the case was launched to contradict the medical examiner’s conclusion,” she said.

The suggestion could not be more clear. Mosby just accused Baltimore police investigators of creating or manufacturing evidence in an effort to sabotage the prosecution of the six police officers. Keep in mind, Mosby was reading from a prepared statement, so it is unlikely that the accusation was some unfortunate slip of the tongue.

How ridiculous were these accusations? Baltimore Mayor Stephanie Rawlings-Blake, the same one who said that she gave protesters a place to destroy, thought they were so crazy she needed to distance herself from them. Mosby out-crazied Mayor Rawlings-Blake. Seriously, take a bow for that.

Here's the deal: people are yelling out "NO JUSTICE, NO PEACE!" for the exact same reason that people are assassinating cops. Here, justice was served through the courts. You know, the actual systems of law and order that we have in place for the prescribed purpose of serving "justice"? These activists don't want justice. They want people tried in the court of public opinion. Specifically in a court of public opinion stacked only with people who agree with them.

So what is Mosby (and her #BlackLivesMatter lackies) really saying here? They are accusing these officers of murder. They are telling their constituents that bloodthirsty murderers, in the form of police officers, are allowed to roam free.

Then, tomorrow they'll feign shock and surprise when somebody tries to kill said "murderers." What's the result? More dead police officers, less justice.
