Details of the suicide attack that has killed over seventy-five people in a Pakistani shrine are still incoming. But we do know two things.

1. The first person who blames this on Donald Trump gets cracked upside the head with my laptop.

2. It's not a group of radical Methodists claiming responsibility...

Thousands of worshipers, including families with their children, had gathered at the more than 800-year-old shrine for the Sufi ritual of Dhamal, which involves music, chanting and prayer.

The Islamic State Khorasan, ISIS' affiliate in Afghanistan and Pakistan, claimed responsibility for the attack in a phone call to CNN.

The Amaq news agency, which is affiliated with ISIS, reported the attack was carried out by a suicide bomber in an explosives vest.

Duh.

While we pray for the victims, we also remember this, Fort Lauderdale Airport Shooter ‘Did it For ISIS…’, Ohio State University Attacker Inspired by ISIS…, and countless other stories we've had to write over the past few years. We're not in the habit of blaming Buddhists for terrorism, is what we're saying.

Something to also note. One of the first things Pakistan did in response to this attack? Close its border with Afghanistan.

[Spokesman for Pakistani Military] later announced on Twitter that the Pakistan-Afghanistan border was "closed with immediate effects till further orders due to security reasons."

Because borders and walls work. Suck it, leftist weenies.

As details are still coming in, we want to temper our commentary just a smidgen. But since an ISIS affiliate has claimed responsibility, we can still make some assumptions and brand them "safe." Or relatively so.

Pakistan is hardly a bastion of Christianity. This was a case of Muslims attacking Muslims. For what reason, we don't yet know. But sometimes the militant Islamists strike at the more "moderate" Muslims. To be clear, for me that's just a guess. Spitballing. Don't accuse me of fake news later. Islam wars with itself as it wars with the infidels. They're not the sorts of people one invites for a fine glass of wine, the ISIS folks. Best to keep them out of the United States. Personally, I'd love it if we could nuke they're barbaric, hairy butts back to the stone age from whence they oozed. Since we can't though, keeping them out of the USA is step numero uno. Which is why we vet people coming into our country. It's not controversial, it's common sense.
