A California council woman's illegal immigrant husband (with a criminal record) gets deported, and she doesn't handle it well
According to Coachella Councilmember Yadira Perez, her husband "wasn't perfect." And by that, she means he broke federal immigration laws and racked up an "extensive criminal record" while living illegally in this country.
So, while Perez may have thought this was perfectly normal, considering no one has yet to hold her husband accountable, he was arrested as part of "targeted enforcement action.”
NEW: California councilwoman's illegal immigrant husband gets arrested by federal agents in a Walmart parking lot.
Yadira Perez is distraught as her husband, Isidro Jimenez-Ibanez, now faces deportation.

The best part of that video was the fire alarm beep.
Question: Did she think being hysterical like that would help her cause? It’s doubtful that ICE agents will feel sympathy towards her but that is exactly what not to do in a situation like this.
According to the Post Millennial:
The husband of a city council member in California was arrested by ICE agents in a Walmart parking lot for his illegal reentry into the United States, citing his extensive criminal history that includes assault with a deadly weapon, DUI, and others.
Isidro Jimenez, 51 years of age and the husband of Coachella City Council member Yadira Perez, was arrested in February for his illegal entry into the United States after being deported in 1995 after he was convicted on drug charges, according to the Desert Sun.
Yadira recorded her husband's arrest, and had agreed to an interview with the outlet, but failed to respond when reporters reached out to her afterwards. ICE said in a press release, "Jimenez entered the US at an unknown location or date without being admitted by an immigration official."
The fact that a council member believes her husband is above the law tells you all you need to know about this situation. Additionally, the fact that someone married to a criminal alien can hold office in the State of California like it’s just another Tuesday speaks volumes as to how sanctuary states work.
"He was convicted by the Superior Court of California, County of Riverside, Aug. 18, 1994, for possession of a controlled substance for sale," the release added. "The defunct Immigration and Naturalization Service arrested Jimenez and removed him to Mexico after an immigration judge ordered him removed March 28, 1995. Jimenez re-entered the U.S. at an unknown location or date without being admitted by an immigration officer."
Incredibly, he reentered after being deported. That is the level of entitlement some of these people have and it needs to end. California seems to make it extremely easy for illegal aliens to live comfortably, as proven by the fact he went over two decades like nothing was wrong.
I know the state despises voter ID laws but let’s hope he didn’t vote for his wife in her council race.
