New York City has been the epicenter of the coronavirus pandemic, worse than not just the rest of this country, but worse than any other country. The suburbs of New York City alone have seen more COVID-19 deaths than the entire states of Texas and California. So if your state has been shut down, thank the incompetent leadership of NYC (see BILL DE BLASIO GETS CALLED OUT FOR BEING A FAILURE IN HANDLING CORONAVIRUS and ANGRY NEW YORKER CALLS OUT BILL DEBLASIO'S HYPOCRISY ON COVID-19). Also people from NYC trying to escape lockdown into other states and bringing the virus with them. Allegedly.
