When it comes to abortion, it's hard to find common ground when abortion is killing an unborn child for [solve for X reason]. Truth is, the unborn child is a separate body from its mother. Don't take our word for it, just look at its separate DNA, separate hands, toes, fingers, and penis. If it's a boy.

As to "when does life begin" science says life begins at conception. That's when the egg and the sperm meet in glorious fashion and a new human person is created. Not at forty days after conception. Not before the baby squirts out of momma's birth canal. Not when the child finally leaves your house to get a job. Conception.
