ACLU defends convicted child murderer, claims "she" didn't get the gender-affirming care she needed in prison
Duane Owen was put to death in Florida yesterday. Convicted in 1984 of the rape and murder of a FOURTEEN-YEAR-OLD and the murder of a single mother, Owen was shuffled loose his mortal coil. But the real crime, according to the American Civil Liberties Union (ALCU) is that SHE (Duane) didn't get the gender-affirming care SHE needed in prison. And this murdering rapist was forced to live the last thirty years in prison in the wrong body.

As CBS News reports, Duane (aka she/her) stabbed a 14-year-old girl EIGHTEEN TIMES. Then after murdering the girl, she/her raped the 14-year-old corpse. The second murder of the single mother came years later.
Duane's attorneys tried claiming gender dysphoria to get him an insanity plea and excuse the murders and the necrophiliac rape. But Florida psychiatrists said, "Nope, that's not going to work this time."

Accusing people of -isms and -phobias are great for social media engagement on the left. The ACLU needs to drive donations. There is a wealth of white suburban progressives who can't wait to send their money to causes so that their other white suburban progressive friends can revel in their virtue. But rule #1 of social media is to READ before you tweet.

I'm not saying the ACLU uses interns to manage their social media. I'm sure this was a professional, fresh out of college, low-information zoomer who gets paid to do the job. But maybe don't cape for murderers who rape corpses, regardless of how they identify after murdering and raping corpses.
