The left loved the Uvalde shooting--which is terrible, but it's the truth. They loved it because there were hundreds of police officers with guns who were too chickensh*t to take on an active shooter and save a bunch of children. They said the "good guy with a gun" argument was a myth. But this past weekend, a good guy with a gun stopped a mass shooter's bloodthirsty rampage in its tracks.

Not to be dissuaded by something as inconvenient as reality, leftists weren't going to let a real-world example (among many, mind you) of a good guy with a gun stopping a mass shooting get in the way of their tyrannical gun-control narrative. So, we end up with nonsense like the garbage being spewed on Twitter by Shannon Watts, Founder of the anti-gun group Moms Demand Action Moms Demand Action. (h/t RedState)

She's since deleted all of her ignorant tweets, so she obviously realized just how stupid she sounded. Jim Treacher pointed out the ridiculousness of her approach to this issue by tweeting, "So nobody should have a gun because the pre-crime division from MINORITY REPORT doesn't exist yet?"

And, honestly, that's what the left is going for. No one should have a gun except for the government guys. And when those people fail to do anything, it only proves that people shouldn't have weapons to defend themselves or something like that... It doesn't make sense. It isn't meant to make sense. All of this is just to push for your rights to be restricted to the point of vanishing because they want control.
