If America ever found itself having a Constitutional Convention, I would have but one request. Amend the Eighth Amendment to yeet the words frowning upon "cruel and unusual punishment" right off the page. There are some crimes where the proportional response should be both cruel and unusual. Such as against a couple who adopts children, molests those children, and records them doing so.

The Walton County Sheriff’s Office raided a home one evening on reports someone was downloading child porn. That sick pervert snitched and said there were bigger scumbags in the county who were “producing homemade child sexual abuse material with at least one child who lived in the home."

It was two children. The two adoptive children of Dale Zulock and Zachary Zulock. Upon raiding the Zulock home, police found evidence the two men “were engaging in sexually abusive acts and video documenting this abuse."

Dale and Zachary adopted kids. Molested those kids. And filmed themselves molesting those kids. Unclear is if they were intending to distribute, or if it was a Hunter Biden thing where they were just sharing their homemade porn with loved ones. To be clear, the other parties in Hunter's homemade porn were legal-aged whores.

The two men are charged with enticing a child for indecent purposes, sexual exploitation of a child, and aggravated child molestation. William was also charged with straight-up child molestation.

So, to my original point: What penalties in our non "cruel and unusual" justice system fits these crimes? Vigilante justice is frowned upon. You could always just send guys like this to prison knowing what happens to guys like this in prison. I still feel there should be an official cruel and/or unusual penalty on the books to send a message.
