"I get raided for weed, and this dude smokes crack in the White House": Afroman sits down for a one-of-a-kind interview

Afroman sat down to discuss the Hunter Got High parody, his faith, the FBI's raid on his home, and much more.
Afroman recently released a new version of “Because I Got High '' called “Hunter Got High,” which is making fun of Hunter Biden.
“He was gonna get his laptop fixed, but Hunter got high,” Afroman sang in the song.
Afroman said he chose to write the song because Joe Biden was, in part, responsible for the passing of the 1994 crime bill, which resulted in a lot of Black people in jail. However, his son, Hunter, is out there smoking crack and nothing happens to him.
“I get raided for weed and this dude smokes crack in the White House," Afroman said.
Afroman’s home was raided by the FBI in 2022, as they claimed they were looking for a "dungeon" with women that of course, does not exist. And now they are suing him for using the footage of the raid to promote his new music.
"My rap songs are more intimidating than their assault rifles," Afroman said. "Big Bad Dudes with assault rifles are in the corner like, 'Your honor, tell him to stop rapping about me.' I be walking up to the cops and be like, 'Hey, don't make me rap about you. I'll humiliate, ridicule, and give you a loss of reputation.'"
And while the FBI claimed to be looking for these nonexistent prisoners in his home, they also stole several hundred dollars, according to Afroman.
"If I take some money from you by force or fear, it's called robbery. if [the FBI] takes some money from me it's called 'asset forfeiture,'" Afroman said.
Fortunately, Afromam claims the raid ended up being a "Blessing in disguise."
"I tell everybody I'm like Rodney King without the ass whooping," Afroman said. "I'm not anti-police [but] I'm not pro-bullsh*t."
While Joe Biden was responsible for putting a lot of black people in jail, Donald Trump got many out, including Death Row Records co-founder Michael ‘Harry-O’ Harris.
"The Democrat Party is not working for black people as a whole," Afroman said. “I don’t think it’s working for people, as a whole. I [also] see more energy in the Republican promises.”
Afroman said later in the interview that his Christian faith has helped him get through difficult times in life.
"I got Christ in my heart," Afroman said. "Jesus said [pray as] often as you can, without ceasing. So I encourage you and all your listeners to pray that prayer, not to show off, don't get all in front of everybody, but there's nothing wrong with just you being with our Father, who is in heaven."
