Watch: What they don't want you to know about AIPAC
Today’s show breaks down the truth about AIPAC and what you need to know.
According to its website, “AIPAC brings together Democrats and Republicans to advance our shared mission. Building bipartisan support for the U.S.-Israel relationship is an American value we are proud to champion.”
“I hope Israel wipes Hamas off the face of the earth,” Crowder said. “I do have a problem with AIPAC as an organization. I dislike AIPAC for the same reason I dislike ActBlue.”
While the organization supports Israel, it still gives large sums of funds to far-left candidates.
“You cannot give money to a far-left Democrat in 2025 and claim that you love America,” Crowder said. “As an American, I should not be voting for the United States to be the charity of the world.”
According to many on the right, AIPAC is a very conservative organization. However, they donate significantly more to the Democrats compared to the Republicans.
“Their only qualifier is, ‘Do you support Israel?’” Crowder said. “That is not an American ideal as far as policy.”
The organization gave $866,425 to Hakeem Jeffries, $519,842 to Debbie Wasserman Schultz, and $480,614 to Kirsten Gillibrand.
"I do support Israel. I don't support those candidates, and I don't support a giant organization giving those candidates money because you are actively fighting against the United States of America," Crowder said.
Another inaccurate claim about the organization is that AIPAC controls nearly every lobbying decision in D.C. However, the organization ranked 191st among 2024 lobbying groups.
"You can be upset about their influence because they may be advocating for another nation above the United States, but to say they are the most influential is simply not [accurate],” Crowder said.
Another claim made by those on the right is that we must give Israel funds because they are a critical ally.
“No, we don’t. You can advocate that we should in some instances because they are an ally, but this idea that we need to send more money as a blanket statement, we actually don’t,” Crowder said. “How about we just stop funding both sides of the war?”
