You've probably heard of the mixologist-turned-commie folk hero, Alexis Orenthal-Corbonite Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez. The newbie leftist gaffe-meister thought we might have forgotten just how much of a dunce she is, so she decided to remind us.

By comparing this election to the battle over slavery:

Socialist congressional candidate Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez seemed to compare Democrats winning elections to the abolition of slavery during a Kansas campaign speech Friday.

“I learned that Kansas was founded over the struggle of the conscience of this nation. It was when we were deciding who we wanted to be as a country. It was when we were deciding who we wanted to be with the Kansas-Nebraska Act. The people who were … leading this nation said, ‘You decide’ to the people.”

“‘Are we going to be a slave state or are we going to be a free state?’ And it was in 1861 that the people of Kansas decided that we were going to be a free nation,” she continued. “Back then, the people of Kansas were the tipping point for the future of this nation. Today, they are again.”

Yep, if the lefties don't pull in the votes in November, they won't be in power. If the left isn't in power, they don't get any free stuff. If there isn't any free stuff, leftists will have to work for a living. In Alexandria's eyes, this is on equal footing with a time when melanin-rich peeps were property.

Allegra Okeechobee-Cortisone doesn't know what unemployment is and fumbles the bejeezus out of Israel/Palestine questions. Yet, here she is lecturing us on history and how it's our "civic duty" to vote in Democrats.

Typical of leftists, they're relying on fear to win, as opposed to having good ideas. "Vote for us or you're in the same standing as a pro-slavery Jayhawker from the 1800s." Yeah, no amount of fear-mongering is going to distract us from the clusterfu*k that is socialism.
