Allie Stuckey and PragerU: Make Men Masculine Again! [Video]
There was never anything wrong with traditional masculinity. In fact masculinity is a wonderful thing. Valued by just about everyone who isn't sniffing her own armpit odors. Or accusing everyone who's better looking than him "GAY!" or "TAKING STEROIDS!" Yet feminists went full histrionics on some of the evil things some men did, and ascribed those evil things to "toxic" masculinity. With the solution being less masculinity and more femininity. Allie Stuckey with PragerU finally addressed the real problem:
Allie's right, I also don't know of any woman, even feminist-leaning women, who like weak men. Women like their men strong, reliable, trustworthy. Leaders. Not whiny, weak, and crying about how they're not masculine. Ala the Bonobos commercial from a few weeks ago.
Lest someone complain the idea of "toxic femininity" isn't a thing, hold up. Read Bravo! Female Biology Professor Calls out 'Toxic Femininity' in Spectacular Essay. Masculinity isn't toxic. Femininity isn't toxic. And I use the term "toxic" here as the modifier is now accepted in our lexicon. Like it or not.
The cure to what one considers "toxic" masculinity isn't less masculinity. The cure is to embrace more masculinity, to encourage men to be truly good men. Toxic masculinity, I would argue, is a signal of a weak man. Not a strong one. Just as I've said rage-filled feminist bovines are not strong women, but weak ones.
Isn't it time to make masculinity and femininity great again?
