Amber Heard was accused of abusing another former partner and NOT just Johnny Depp. Depp is suing Heard for more than $50M over alleged defamation stemming from a 2016 op-ed about domestic violence that the ACLU ghostwrote for her in exchange for a sizable donation.

It was first discovered in 2019 that, contrary to the narrative, Amber Heard was the one abusing Johnny Depp. During Wednesday's cross-examination, Depp's attorney Camille Vasquez brought up another former domestic partner Heard (allegedly) abused.

Vasquez drew attention to a 2009 incident in which Heard was arrested for attacking then-girlfriend Tasya van Ree at the Seattle-Tacoma International Airport. Prosecutors decided not to prosecute, and in 2011 "police received a request to delete the arrest information on the case and as allowed under Washington state law, it was then deleted from the system." Heard's publicists claim two cops "misinterpreted and over-sensationalized" the incident.

Heard denied the incident happening on the stand. Then she accused Depp's team of "planting the story" in 2020. Depp's attorney seemed happy enough to have the alleged incident entered into the record.

It has not appeared to be a good week for Amber Heard's side of things. The PR guru she hired to paint Depp as a drunk abuser is alleged to have his own problems with alcohol and women. Heard was also, before God and jury, forced to answer the charge that she pooped, or placed poop in Johnny Depp's bad. Heard swears it wasn't her, it was the dog.
