Johnny Depp was awarded $15 million dollars by a jury in his defamation lawsuit against Amber Heard. It stems from a Washington Post op-ed with Heard's name in the byline accusing Depp of abuse. Turns out, Heard was the abuser. Whoops! While it's nice to see Heard held accountable, Dave Portnoy asks an important question. Why not the Washington Post, too?

Portnoy has been on an anti-'left-wing nutbag' media kick this year. This includes Business Insider, New York Times, and in this instance, the Washington Post.

“Where's the Washington Post? They hold no responsibility in this? Amber Heard--seemingly scumbag, fair trial--got smoked. Everyone saw the case. The Washington Post, you can just do anything. You’re just saying anything. And they have no responsibility? No skin in the game? They cause all the damage to Johnny Depp?”

He goes on to say the Washington Post should be held accountable, as well, and should "have some responsibility to make sure what you publish isn’t shit?” Speaking of both WaPo AND left-wing nutbags...

The mainstream media aspect and the MSM's alliance with left-wing nutbags were this story's most underreported aspects. We all had fun with the poop aspect. That's understandable... because it's poop. The woman allegedly sh*t in Johnny Depp's bed, even though she denied the allegations.

But this all started with an op-ed in the Washington Post. We found out during the trial that the op-ed was ghostwritten AND placed in WaPo by the ACLU. Not only that, it was TIMED for the release of Aquaman (that Heard was starring in) for maximum publicity. Washington Post (left-wing media) plus the ACLU (left-wing activists) plus Hollywood. And we come to find out, fifteen million dollars later, it was all bullplop.

Portnoy is right. Left-wing media needs to start being held accountable. Unfortunately, it's going to take more stories like this for people to wake up and realize that.
