Day three has begun in the Amy Coney Barrett hearings, as Judge Barrett prepares to take her rightful place as the one true heir to Ruth Bader Ginsburg. Not to get too far ahead of ourselves. I don't want to jinx the hearing or tempt the wrath of the whatever from high atop the thing. Anything can happened before the Senate votes. But we're now two full days in, and many of us are swooning (see SENATOR CORNYN ASKS TO SEE AMY CONEY BARRETT'S NOTES. SHE HOLDS UP A BLANK NOTEBOOK! and AMY CONEY BARRETT RESPONDS TO LIBERALS ATTACKING HER FAMILY & RELIGION, AND SHE DOESN'T HOLD BACK). Judging (I swear that's an unintentional pun) by how Sen. Lindsey Graham opened the Wednesday session, we aren't alone.

You have no idea how much I wanted to work the word "fangirled" or "YASSSS KWEEN" into the title of this post.

Joking aside, Graham echoed what I've heard from a lot of women on the right, spanning the full spectrum from "NeverTrump" to "Trump is the air that I breathe." ACB is a mother of seven AND a career woman. She's also strong in her political and religious convictions, in a way that makes those convictions look — for lack of a better word — normal, despite what the left screams about them. Many are viewing her as a huge role model for generations of conservative women to come.

That is, IF she gets confirmed to the Supreme Court. Again, no jinxing or tempting the wrath of anything.
