Being a taxpayer under leftist leadership is the equivalent of being the smallest inmate in the penitentiary. You're gonna get raped. No luck on the lube. Naturally, seeing as Americans are free to go where they please, many of those taxpayers are peace-ing out, getting as far away from having a chronically sore butthole high taxes as possible.

Well, Governor Andrew Cuomo did some detective work and found the real reason for the exodus from New York; Trump's tax cuts. Yes, really:

New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo and other public officials from blue states are blaming President Donald Trump’s tax overhaul for people moving to Texas and Florida where the tax burden is less burdensome.

The Democratic governor said Monday that changes to the federal tax law resulted in his state losing $2.3 billion in tax revenue. The 2017 law capping deduction for state and local taxes at $10,000 is the reason for the shortfall and immigration out of the state, he said at a press conference.

He called the decision to cap deductions “a diabolical political maneuver” designed to help red states.

Yeah, you read that right. People reacting to New York's sucktastic tax rates with their feet is all the fault of the Orange Man.

Never mind competing with those states by lowering taxes and creating incentives for business. Nope, Andy here would rather beat his hands on the floor. Like a disgruntled toddler in the toy aisle at Walmart. "Nobody wants to play with me. This guy's making everyone realize how crappy our policies are. It's not fair!"

Lefties want to drain you of your greenbacks and personal freedoms. The thing is, they don't want you to notice it. Or be upset by it. Or do anything about it. Which is why they frame their authoritarian douchebaggery as "funding progress" and "protecting the public."

That goes over much easier than them telling us "I am your master, you are my possession." When people wise up to such things, they usually don't take too kindly to them. So, if Andrew Cuomo wants to point the finger at the real culprit behind the exodus, the guy's standing right there in the mirror. Sorry he's so ugly.
