At this point, those tales of "peaceful" leftists going berserk on innocent bystanders are commonplace. On an almost bi-weekly basis, some unlucky bloke has a close call or a trip to the emergency room, courtesy of a loony progressive. Well, the lefties are on track to meet their quota for the week. Do you remember that old saying, "hell hath no scorn like an angry woman?" Throw in the brain parasite that is leftism and a driver's license and you get this gem of a story...

A court date Friday for a Harwinton woman accused of trying to hit a police officer with her car Thursday in Burlington.

State police say 58-year-old Eileen Pierce tried to hit an officer directing traffic at a tree-trimming site on Route 69– allegedly driving her Subaru wagon directly at him, yelling out the window, and shaking her fist. The officer quickly got out of the way, and police say Pierce narrowly missed hitting a tree crew.

When Pierce was pulled over at the Burlington-Bristol line, troopers say she rambled for several minutes, saying she was upset with police and that officers are being murdered because they tend to abuse people’s rights — noting she was angry that Donald Trump is president.

Nothing says tolerance like a little vehicular homicide. Am I right? Also, this woman has done zero for the stereotype that angry liberals (or angry lesbians) only drive Subaru wagons. Mayhaps the brand might want to do a bit of research into why their vehicles are favored by these bottom-dwelling sprites. Just a suggestion.

With the incendiary rhetoric coming from Black Lives Matter and the mainstream left, it's no surprise this crazed she-beast saw a badge and hit the accelerator. She probably thought she was committing an act of kindness...instead of a felony. Talking heads and celebrities have been inciting violence at every possible turn since November, and those seeds are starting to blossom. Luckily, that police officer had ninja-like reflexes, or he'd be splattered all over the asphalt like a spilled bowl of spaghetti. Whatever happened to "Love Trumps Hate" leftists?

Oh right. Leftists think violence is permissible, warranted even, if they're justified. As in if they buy Black Lives Matter or larger liberal rhetoric that conservatives or Republicans are all racists. Or Nazis. Now I get it.
