The media calls sharing elected officials' comments and pointing out "hey, these are words that were said" as fear-mongering. Yet more and more leftist extremists are saying these words out loud. Like here with socialist Councilwoman Kshama Sawant, who when last we saw her was leading an invasion against the mayor's house. This video is in reference to Seattle attempting another "we're only targeting Jeff Bezos and maybe like five other people" tax. Which, side note, I don't care if it's Councilwoman Sawant or President Trump, you mess with my Amazon Prime and you're getting a sternly written letter.

The tax is just for the city of Seattle, which just reunited with the People's Republic of CHOP. But Sawant isn't just talking about Seattle.

We are coming to dismantle this deeply oppressive, racist, sexist, violent, utterly bankrupt system of capitalism. This police state. We cannot and will not stop until we overthrow it and replace it with a world based, instead, on solidarity, genuine democracy, and equality: a socialist world.

We're also going to replace it with a world based on rainbows and feelings and cheese.

"But Brodigan, she's only a councilwoman." Right, and Bernie was only the mayor of a podunk town in Vermont. AOC was only a bartender who couldn't do anything with her international relations degree. People run for higher office, and the media likes to make celebrities out of anyone who is further to the left than the Democrats we have now. Bad ideas need to be exposed before Election Day, regardless of who the officeholder is. Leftists have made it clear this is the direction they want to take the country, and they are no longer hiding it behind "moderate, commonsense" proposals. We should stop them before they take us there.

Also, she's just a councilwoman and look at all the damage she has done. Maybe, just maybe, conservatives can learn a thing or two about how powerful local office actually is and do more than complain on social media. Like, I dunno, running for their local council.
