Let's hope Anthony Fauci is busy at home throwing darts at a picture of Volodymyr Zelenskyy on a dartboard--jealous that Zels stole his spot in the hearts and minds of the media--and NOT watching the news of the lockdowns in Shanghai. Though the way Fauci throws, the darts would be all over the wall and/or his cat. But that's not the issue right here.

Shanghai had an outbreak of the 'rona, so China locked down the entire city. Like, literally, the entire city. And they have a drone flying around warning citizens to get the idea of freedom out of their heads.

“Please comply w[ith] covid restrictions. Control your soul’s desire for freedom. Do not open the window or sing.”

What a terrifying message to come from government officials. Locking down at an entire city and telling them to--only temporarily, of course--give up their desire for freedom. It's terrifying to think that could happen in any country, even Communist China.

Or when Fauci said, "There comes a time when you do have to give up what you consider your individual right of making your own decision for the greater good of society?" That was a fun one. The video of that has since been removed.

Not removed is this Fauci classic: "I know people like to have their individual freedom and not be told to do something, but I think we're in such a serious situation now that under certain circumstances, mandates should be done."

The 'rona is running wild in China again, where citizens are being told to give up their desire for freedom. It's batshit (pun intended) crazy.

It's also something to remember as being batshit crazy when there is another variant in America (you know there will be) and Anthony Fauci is back on TV sending similar messages to Americans.
