The list of reasons for Anthony Fauci to be fired continues to grow. If he isn't lying to the American people via the media, he's lying to Congress. If he isn't lying, he's funding research involving the unnecessary torture of beagles, in which they were drugged and had their heads locked "in mesh cages filled with hungry sand flies so that the insects could eat them alive […] They also locked beagles alone in cages in the desert overnight for nine consecutive nights to use them as bait to attract infectious sand flies."

Now, information previously released by White Coat Waste Project (WCW) has resurfaced detailing the psychological torture experiments performed on monkeys by the National Institute of Health (NIH).

As a result of a lawsuit filed in December 2020, WCW managed to release one of allegedly several videos of experiments performed on the monkeys, during which the primates were intentionally scared with "rubber spiders and mechanical snakes, objects the primates instinctively fear". What's more, the fear responses have allegedly been enhanced through a process by which "NIH 'white coats' sucked out parts of these monkeys' brains or destroyed them with toxic acid".

In the video available to the public, a monkey is repeatedly scared with one of these objects. At one point, you can see as it is frozen in fear, lip quivering, as it stares at the object of its terror.

One might assume these experiments serve a purpose. Surely, there must be a reason behind scaring the ever-living hell out of brain-damaged monkeys. But these experiments have yet to bear results in the form of drugs or cures for anything.

And, I'd hate to say anything could make the indefensible, unnecessary torture of monkeys worse, but it does get worse. These experiments proving only the extent of human depravity have cost the American taxpayers approximately $100 million since 2007 and have actually been "continuously funded for over 40 years".

What is the government doing about this? In an update provided by WCW, as of December 30, 2020, "Congress has directed the NIH to commission an independent study by the National Academies of the NIH's intramural primate testing and how modern alternatives can reduce their use". This directive is detailed under the heading Primate Research on page 69 of the NIH's 2021 spending bill.

Our government has spent hundreds of millions of dollars for decades performing torture experiments on animals with nothing of value to show for it, and the great solution to this cruelty is to spend more taxpayer funds to study what might otherwise be done. Few things could encapsulate government's worst unchecked excesses or its complete and utter inefficiency.

And yet, one is still left to wonder if Fauci will ever be asked to answer for his myriad instances of misconduct.
