If we've said it once we've said it a thousand times, sacrificing your personal liberty for the promise of safety leads down the path to tyranny. We call them RIGHTS and not PRIVILEGES for a reason. Recently, Anthony Fauci appeared on CBS's "Face the Nation." It was during that appearance that dictator Fauci turned up his nose at personal liberties to fight the common enemy of COVID-19.

From The Hill:

"It's the unvaccinated that are doing that, so we have a lot of tasks. We've got to do mitigation. Put aside all of these issues of concern about liberties and personal liberties and realize we have a common enemy and that common enemy is the virus," Fauci said. "And we really have to go together to get on top of this. Otherwise, we're going to continue to suffer as we're seeing right now."

Now, most COVID cultists like to focus on the virus. I'm more of a big picture person and tend to wave away the trees for the forest. So when I hear Tony say we need to suspend personal liberties to confront a common enemy, I like to play the swapping game. Replace "COVID-19" with the common enemy of climate change, because we're already there with the left. Replace the common enemy of COVID-19 with "racism." I put it in quotations because there's racism and then there's "racism" the kind leftists complain about on Twitter which include but are not limited to people of color complaining about white people enjoying food made by people who are not white. The nerve of us. Replace the common enemy of COVID-19 with "white supremacy" which as you know from reading this website, has come to mean absolutely nothing aside from "this person who isn't a leftist." Replace the common enemy of COVID-19 with transphobia. Where transphobia means making radical statements like "Men cannot breastfeed" or "Women are not men."

Personal liberties are not to be given up, nor should anyone tell you to part with them. Even if people are dying. People die every day. COVID cultists don't seem to know this, but according to the CDC, 7,700 Americans die every day. Of various causes. Because people die. I'm sorry if that sounds callous, but people die. The instant sperm meets ova, a clock ticks. It's the mortality clock, and it comes for us all.

Before it does though, between the moment of conception and the moment of death, you should live your life with your personal liberties intact. Because you have the RIGHT to life, LIBERTY, and the pursuit of Happiness.
