Leftists sure are a self-contradicting bunch. They display their self-awarded "I'm an anti-racist" merit badges for all the world to see. Yet, they're never too short on time to preach the gospel of whitey being eviler than Skeletor, Sauron, and slow people who hog up the fast lane. They even host a university workshop on the subject:

Trent University in Ontario is scheduled to hold a workshop on Monday called “It’s OK to be (Against) White(ness).”

According to a description of the event on Facebook, the workshop will not address white people per se, but the “ways that white racialization is socially constructed as dominant, both historically and in the present moment.”

I'm failing to see how white people and "whiteness" are separate from another. It's in the title. This group isn't protesting elitism as a whole, they're singling out honkies.

“This normalization of Whiteness makes it difficult for students racialized as white to even notice these ideologies; ‘being normal’ and centering the positions of the dominant group as normal requires making these processes invisible,” the event description reads. “At this event, we are challenging students to begin to notice, understand and resist the powerful ways that Whiteness works.

The title of the event is a reference to the “It’s OK to be White” posters that were hung up on Canadian and U.S. campuses last year.

Yeah! "Whitey is responsible for every bad thing in the world. They use families, math, and the outdoors to hold brown people down. What we need is a good old-fashioned genocide." Pretty bad stuff, right? Yet, that racist craziness is perfectly acceptable among leftists. Now imagine if someone said the exact same things about blackness.

I'm sure the phrase "whiteness so fragile" will come up during the workshop. "Mr. Charlie feels threatened about his supremacy coming to an end. Boo-hoo." I'm sure the honky-haters will even say the "It's OK to be White" campaign itself is a front for white supremacy. The truth is if the left weren't so full of hate toward all things caucasian, "It's OK to be White" wouldn't be a thing in the first place.

Identity politics is for ignorant airheads. Doesn't matter if it's the "white power" or the "death to whitey" type. Yet here we meritocracy peeps are, caught between two sides of hue-obsessed ignoramuses. I guess "merit over melanin" isn't as much fun as "death to everyone who isn't me." Sad.
