The progressive activist group known as ANTIFA has a habit of showing which ideology is the hateful one (see Antifa Makes On-Camera Death Threats Against Donald Trump and Antifa Goons Lead Anti-Cop Chants, Attack Cameraman at Charlottesville Rally). Here's a clip of them beating someone down in Portland. For the thought crime of waving an American flag. But wait, it's not what you think.

Soon a group of black-clad anti-fascist protesters, also known as Antifa, demanded he lose the flag, calling it a fascist symbol. Welch refused, and a tug-of-war ensued.

It ended with Welch taking a club to the back of the head, lying on the ground in a pool of his own blood.

Here's the twist.

Only Welch was not a Proud Boy, a Patriot Prayer supporter or among the other conservative activists who descended into the area that day, many from out of town. He was one of hundreds of progressive Portlanders who had turned out to oppose the right-wing rally held at the Tom McCall Waterfront Park.

This is why #WalkAway has become a thing. Where people leave the Democrat Party over how extreme the Democrats have become. Here a Bernie Sanders supporter -- who from a policy standpoint, probably agrees with the other counter-protesters -- simply waved an American Flag. His counter-protest was "this is our country too." For that, he gets his skull cracked open.

We may disagree with Bernie supporters on everything. But we're not the ones beating the crap out of them. Antifa is. Leftists are. Over the slightest showing of patriotism. Tolerance.
