One of the many problems with being Progressive is that you can never be woke enough. The left constantly always eats their own the moment one of their comrades dares to even slightly disagree with the mob.

A vegan Antifa member in Portland has just claimed responsibility for an attack on a woke butcher shop for not being left-wing enough by cutting off its power and making the meat unsellable.

According to The Post Millennial:

The owner of the butcher shop, Pasture PDX, voiced left-leaning political views on social media, and the shop displayed an LGBTQ Pride flag on its storefront windows.

The attack was launched to stand in solidarity with anarchist "antispeciesist" activists who have been imprisoned for carrying out radical attacks to liberate animals from so-called captivity, according to the blog post.

“Anti Speciesism” is the vegan version of racism but it has to do with species. For example, if you think lions are superior animals compared to mice then you are a “speciesist.”

This makes no sense considering that vegans kill more animals than meat eaters could even dream of, and their very justification for it is “speciesist" in nature. They refuse to eat red meat but don’t even blink an eye that they destroy entire ecosystems and kill millions of mice, birds, lizards, and other small animals for mass agriculture.

In other words, they believe that a million smaller animals and insects is justifiable in comparison to one cow. But none of that is surprising because double standards are needed for those on the left if they are to claim they have any at all.

So while these freaks point the finger at the world and claim all of us to be “speciesist” they are the most “speciesist” among us.

Rose City Antifa, under the byline "rosecitycounterinfo," said in the post that they shut off power to Pasture PDX in an attempt to make their animal meat unsellable. The group also claims to have shut power to nearby stores for no other reason other than "it was fun."

This is unsurprising considering that groupthink tends to come to fruition when you have a bunch of naive individuals form a conclusion with absolutely no critical thinking.

"Last night we cut off the tiny padlock to the breaker box of a butcher shop 'pasture pdx' and shut off their power to make the flesh they butchered unsellable. we also sealed the lock on the door with spray foam insulation. We also shut power to two adjacent stores because it was fun. These things are easily reproduceable and we encourage anarchists to think outside of the box. you can do other things then smash windows," the post reads.

But the ironic part of this story is that the owner of the butcher shop is woke.

The shop's co-owner, Kei Ohdera, was featured in a piece by The Oregonian in November 2023, to explain that their butcher shop was established to provide ethically sourced high-quality meat. Ohdera also said that they do their best to encourage people to consume less meat.

"We are trying our best to suggest that people shouldn't eat as much meat as they do, but if they do choose to eat meat, eat meat that is coming from the right sources raised by stewards of the land," Ohdera told the paper.

What kind of person sells a product and tries to convince people not to buy that product? Seems like a bad marketing move if you ask me.

That said, this post is not meant to victim shame. We are here to attack ideas and not people.

There is only so much someone can virtue signal before the woke mob comes for them. You cannot expect BLM and pride flags to protect you forever - especially when you are in one of the most progressive areas in the country. But this is the reality these people face when they wholeheartedly commit to a group where the leftist pendulum just keeps on swinging.
