It's one thing to call your opponent a Nazi. It's another thing to "report" that "some people" are calling your opponent a Nazi. It's a waaaaaay different thing to lash out at the Anti-Defamation League for not agreeing with you that your opponent is a Nazi. That takes a special kind of stupid so, of course, it involves popular social media influencer Rep. AOC.

For those of you who are wondering, Rep. AOC still has her side hustle as a member of Congress.

To recap from yesterday, the media reported Elon Musk gave the Nazi salute at a Donald Trump inauguration event. He did no such thing. Cousin Elon is just awkward. And you would think the media had learned its lesson about overreacting to EVERY little Trump and Trump-adjacent thing, or at least mayhaps learned its lesson about irresponsibly accusing people of being Nazis. Yet, here we all are.

The journalsiming coverage got so bad that the Anti-Defamation League felt it necessary to put out a statement saying that, no, contrary to what you saw reported on CNN, Elon Musk does not stan Hitler.

Rep. AOC, who critics have called anti-Jewish and pro-Hamas over the content she has created that is anti-Jewish and pro-Hamas, could not even with the ADL. She launched a "the ADL is over party."

I know that you know that I know what you're thinking...

When Rep. AOC accuses the ADL of working for "them," I'm curious about who she meant. Do they work for the Trump administration? Space-X? Does she think the ADL works for Nazis? Only in Rep. AOC's silly brain does that make sense.

The sad thing is while other members of Congress also made chuckleheaded statements about this yesterday, they can at least blame it on the low-information Zoomers they have running their social accounts. Rep. AOC has no such scapegoat because she handles her own schtuff.

Maybe I'm still basking in the afterglow of yesterday and the fact that we are so f*cking back, but I still can't believe after everything the left and the media (but I repeat myself) lost and after all the lessons they should have learned... that THIS is there first attack of the new Trump presidency. An awkward, autistic billionaire waving his arms around turned into ZOMG, HE IS TOTALLY GIVING A NAZI SALUTE!

Y'all need to do a better job pacing yourselves. At this rate, you won't make it to Trump's first State of the Union address.
