Everything is racist. Especially racist Trump supporters. With their racist eyes. And the racist cut of their jib. That seems to be what the Democrat Party has settled on for 2020. But maybe, just maybe, all those racist Trump supporters just don't know that they're racist. That seems to be what Speaker of the House Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez seems to be getting at. She told Pod Save America that the party just has to do a better job explaining to rubes how racist they are. Aw. Isn't she just the cutest?

Trump relied on a coalition and a core part of that coalition were racists building a coalition with all sorts of other people that could be susceptible to racist views if they were blanketed and layered and made people feel good about it not being a racist thing. And so there are a lot of people who support Trump that genuinely don’t believe that they are racist because we do not talk about or educate people on recognizing racism.

We're going on four years after Donald Trump was elected, with Democrats still trying to figure out how and why his supporters rebelled against their Democrat sentries. NO ONE on the left is willing to look in the mirror and say, "Maybe spending ten years telling everyone who disagreed with us on anything at all that they were racist... wasn't ideal."

At least with most Democrats you know they're lying and are just throwing around bullshit accusations of racism for political reasons. AOC seems like someone who honestly thinks anyone who disagrees with her only does so because of the color of her skin. Like the barista who spelled her name wrong when she ordered a pumpkin spice latte. Not that there's anything wrong with pumpkin spice lattes.
