The number of idiotic leftist AR-15 takes is as infinite as Michael Moore's waistline measurement (see WATCH: CNN Uses Army General to Make a Case Against AR-15s. Fails. and USA Today Humiliates Themselves in Hilariously Ignorant Anti AR-15 Video…). The funniest of all  are the ignorant assclowns "destroying" their assault boomsticks.

The latest is this Virginia Congressional candidate. She opted to saw the barrel off of her husband's AR for attention on Facebook. Well, mission accomplished! She's getting attention, alright. From the ATF:

The Federal Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) is investigating congressional candidate Karen Mallard after she posted a video on Facebook that shows her cutting apart an AR-15 rifle.

The school teacher and Democrat is running for Virginia's 2nd Congressional District, hoping to oust Republican Congressman Scott Taylor.

She goes on to explain that she wasn't happy when her husband bought the AR-15 "a while back." Mallard adds that after the deadly shooting at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Florida on February 14, and the renewed outcries for stricter gun control that followed, she and her husband agreed they didn't want the AR-15 in their home.

Not only is that rifle still functional, that ultra-short barrel is a big legal no-no. I wish I could say I feel bad for this grandstanding ignoramus, but who am I kidding.

There's a buttload of ways this leftist dunce could dispose of her unwanted lead-slinger. She could have simply surrender it to the police whole, or allow a nice family to adopt it to love as one of their own. She could have sawn the upper and lower receivers in half to actually destroy the weapon. Instead, she let her ignorance lead the G-men straight to her door to interrogate her on the whereabouts of her illegally-modified short-barreled rifle.

This is why "gun people" refuse to hear leftists out on the matter. Despite their monumental stupidity on all things ballistic, leftists fancy themselves experts on gat policy. As long as the left chooses to remain ignorant of the objects they want to ban, we'll keep tuning them out with the sound of our black rifles plinking steel.
