Hillary Flat-Out Says Americans are 'Wrong' On Second Amendment...
Weird I know, but the more leftists push for gun control in the wake of the California terror attack, the more Americans push gun ownership (see NYTimes Poll: Majority of Americans Oppose “Assault Weapons Ban” For First Time... and Concealed Carry Requests Spike Across the Nation...). So the question was posed to Hillary Clinton if she thinks Americans are wrong.
Her answer may surprise you...
Just kidding! It's exactly what you'd expect.
“In the wake of the San Bernardino attack, you all emphasized gun control. But our latest poll shows that more Americans believe arming people, not stricter gun laws, is the best defense against terrorism. Are they wrong?” the moderator asked.
She tried dodging, but the moderator to her credit wasn't having it.
“Guns in and of themselves, in my opinion, will not make Americans safer. We lose 33,000 people a year already to gun violence. Arming more people, to do what, is not the appropriate response to terrorism,” Clinton replied.
And then she said something about Donald Trump, because obviously.
We've been telling you for month's that a Hillary Clinton presidency would be the worst possible outcome for gun owners. The more she talks, the more gun owners - and even people who are more moderate but find themselves purchasing their first gun - find themselves turned off by her.
Hell, even Bernie "Santa Clause" Sanders himself has only received a "D-" from the NRA. Compare that with Clinton's solid "F."
It's also a pivotal issue which could shake Hillary's campaign. Guns are such a losing issue for leftists that even lifelong Democrats are often willing to part ways if they feel their Second Amendment rights are at serious risk. See, Conservatives have a lot of issues that split the Republican party, because Conservatism allows for more intellectual diversity by nature. This can be observed by how rambunctious the current GOP debates can get. The left doesn't. If you watched the Democrat Debate at all this week, they agreed on everything. They might as well have shown up, patted each other's backs and walked off. But don't worry, I know you didn't watch it.
No one did.
The only issue that can fragment the Democrat vote, is the gun-control issue. And it just happens to be the one on which Hillary Clinton is most out of touch. How is she so out of touch?
Well, because this is what she believes the Second Amendment to mean. WATCH:
