There's a pattern among countries riddled with refugees. Usually suckness in the form of terrorism and child rape. After tolerating so many Islamic migrants, many nations end up considering a burqa ban of some kind. France tried it (see France Fights Islam by Banning Burkinis). Even Germany has made promises to enforce one (see FED UP? Angela Merkel Promises Burka Ban in Germany...). Now Austria is trying its hand at a ban...

A controversial integration law that will fine women for wearing face-concealing Islamic dress from October, and deprive of benefits migrants who fail to take language lessons has officially been enacted, after being rubberstamped by the President.

"Those who are not prepared to accept Enlightenment values will have to leave our country and society," reads the law...

Women who will wear Islamic veils - either the burqa or niqab - in public places, will face a fine of ($168). Newcomers who expect to stay in Austria will need to enroll in a 12-month "integration course," which includes German language lessons, if they are to receive welfare benefits.

Austria's decided its welfare benefits are for human beings, not walking tapestries. When in Austria, do as the Austrians. Sorry ladies, if you want money for your halal Bonbons, you have to speak German and not while hiding behind a face curtain.

This is a major U-turn in Austria's decision making. Much like Germany, the Austrians have swung back and forth on the issue of Islam. This is the same Austria who fought migrant sex attacks with rape alarms and who's president admitted women might have to wear headscarves. Now Austria's testing alternative methods, like actual national security (see Austria Plans to Deport 50,000 Syrian Migrants...). Recent terrorist ongoings in other parts of Europe may have inspired a little action, no? Something to keep in mind here. Out of all the countries bullied by the EU into taking truckloads of refugees, none of them seem better off for it. For example: Sweden, Germany, France, or England. Just to name a few. Perhaps Austria has sensed a pattern.
