Awesome! South Park Nails #SJW's on Anti-Police BS
When Matt Stone and Trey Park first created South Park 19 or so years ago, I don't think they could have imagined a year like 2015. It's a satirists dream, 2015. Last night on the mocking block was police shootings. And oh was it glorious.
It starts with the police being called to an emergency at the school.
There she is officers, right there. I told you to start chatting with your friends didn't I Leslie? You see officers, Leslie apparently thinks that talking to her friends is more important that learning about diversity in third world countries. You remove her from my school!
The situation gets tense. Things escalate. Someone is accidentally shot. Which, fine. These things happen. Unfortunately the person shot was an ethnic minority. That's when all hell breaks loose.
"You should have thought about that before you shot a Mexican.""(Latino-American)"
"Latino-American! S***"
"You should go away. You don't belong anywhere in a town as progressive as this one."
At which point, the newly progressive town of South Park learns exactly what happens when they attack police and allow their politics to trump common sense... but some of that is NSFW and not fit for a family website such as this one. :-)
The truth is the episode isn't about "police brutality" as it is our "outrage culture." Trey and Matt are pretty even-handed guys. There's even a reference to the stupid false "Christian" outrage over red Starbucks cups.
Conservatives could take notes. Because even though Trey and Matt are libertarians, they're making a winning argument. The SJW politically correct brigade has over-reached and they've devoted their entire season to mocking it. That opens far more minds than any political grand-standing ever could.
This season of South Park has been the best ever. You can check out some previous clips here.
