Back to Berkeley: AntiFa Leftists Brutally Attack Trump Supporters
Remember the AntiFa assfunnels peaceful rioters protesters from last month (see “Anti-Fascists” Burn Berkeley to Protest Milo and MMA Fighter Jake Shields Saves Man Being Beaten by ‘Peaceful Protesters’)? Well, they caught wind of Trump Supporters exercising their pesky first amendment rights again. What happens next, really shouldn't shock you in the slightest at this point (from the L.A .Times)...
For the second time in a month, Berkeley was the scene of violent demonstrations as supporters of President Trump clashed with counter-protesters Saturday on the streets of the city.At least 10 people were arrested and seven others were injured as a series of disturbances marred what was supposed to be a pro-Trump rally in the famously liberal community.
Videos and photos posted on Twitter showed people punching each other and pulling their hair. One man used an unidentified object to beat another person. Several people in the crowd were pepper-sprayed, including an elderly man.
At least two people, with their faces covered up, could be seen on video trying to set fire to an American flag. A photo on Twitter showed the bloody face of a man who wore a T-shirt that said “Trump is My President.”
Notice something absent from the original press story?
No specification as to which side was violently attacking the other. Just that there were "violent altercations." Do you know when this kind of vague reporting doesn't occur? On any non-Trump related story that occurs in the news ever. Think about it. Compare it to any other reporting you've read or watched relating to a violent crime. If a man is mugged, "the news" reports on the attacker mugging the assailant. You don't hear "a man was walking down La Cienega today when an altercation occurred between two people." Specifying the victim and attacker is oh, say, the actual job of news-media!
But in this instance, pointing out which side is violent might make the leftist ideology look bad. It may also point out that Trump supporters aren't the monsters the press originally made them out to be. The American people are becoming pretty adept at deciphering these days though. From Woodstock to Occupy Wall Street. From President Trump's inauguration to the "women's march". The left has proven that nearly any time their ilk gather in large numbers, violence occurs. It has become the rule rather than the exception. Just don't expect the L.A. Times to recognize that.
I guess we'll just have to do their job for them. And this is an entertainment/comedy site. Strange times, right?
