Baltimore has long been festering with anti-copness and crime, so the story below should come as no surprise. First let's take a trip into the past, where the mayor of Baltimore insisted she wanted to "give those who wished to destroy space to do that." And so she did, by reining in the city's police while also taking a giant crap on their reputation (see Facts Don't Matter: Marilyn Mosby Fabricates More Anti-Police Accusations). Not a good move. Now the city is bursting at the seams with all sorts of crime. Namely murder. In fact, it's gotten so bad, the Mayor is now asking for help...

The number of homicides in Baltimore this year is soaring -- reaching 100 before the end of April for the first time in nearly two decades -- and the mayor is asking the FBI for more help.

"Murder is out of control," said Mayor Catherine Pugh, at her weekly news briefing Wednesday. "There are too many guns on the streets. We're looking for all the help we can get."

The mayor met recently with the special agent in charge of the FBI's Baltimore office and asked for additional agents to help local police battle violent crime in the city. He said that could either mean bringing in more FBI agents from other field offices across the country or reassigning agents already in Baltimore to work with local police investigating crime.

Surprise! Turns out those meddling "racist" cops were helping keep the city together.

Protip: if you want people to stop shooting each other, maybe don't malign the dudes you call to stop people from shooting each other.

So after the city of Baltimore maligns cops, their solution is to bring in the FEDS! Out with the city employees with batons and guns, in with the FEDERALALES with suits, batons, guns, and even more resources. Talk about your upsell.

A friendly suggestion to all #BlackLivesMatter toilet brushes: take a trip to Baltimore this summer and behold the fruit of your rhetoric. After all, Baltimore is a #BlackLivesMatter utopia. The city simply gave the Molotov-wielding mob what they demanded. Of course, clearly, that's not working out too hot...

The lesson here is a rather obvious one, but this being 2017 the obvious often needs extra attention. Police are useful - which is why we have them in the first place. Both their presence and their action hinders crimes. See also: actions and consequences. When one removes the force which enacts consequences on poor actions (like the police arresting baddies), more criminals engage in malevolent actions.

It's a notion lost on those rushing to squawk "raaacism!"
