Finally! Recall Papers Filed Against LA Mayor After Her Fire Failures
If Karen Bass refuses to resign as the Mayor of Los Angeles then the people will have to vote her out. This is exactly why paperwork has been filed to start the recall process.

According to California Globe
A recall campaign against Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass filed paperwork with the Los Angeles Ethics Commission on Monday, officially beginning the long-awaited recall process against her.
The Recall Karen Bass Committee, headed by real estate agent and Republican donor Sahil Nandwani, says on their website that the primary reason the recall was started was because of Bass’ mismanagement of the wildfires, along with her slashing the LAFD budget before the fires. However, it wasn’t the only reason listed, with the recall group also saying that Bass brought about underfunded and overworked first responders, that small businesses are struggling and leaving LA under her watch, that she has failed to address homelessness with real solutions, that public transit is unsafe, and that there has been no real progress on government reform and accountability.
To call Bass a failure would be an understatement.
Not only did she know of the risk of the fires but she chose to ignore her basic duties during the city's most vulnerable hours.
After flying back she refused to answer anyone on why she turned a blind eye during these crucial times of disaster but she now wants to investigate who “let her” go on her little pathetic trip that was of no benefit to the people of Los Angeles.
Karen Bass claims she wasn't aware of any danger before leaving for her vacation in Ghana. This is A BLATANT LIE.
There were fire weather warnings the day before she left.

This is not someone who can lead the second most populated city in the United States and there is more than enough evidence that she is a complete failure.

She could not be bothered to do her job if her life depended on it, as she proved she would rather see the city burn than miss out on doing business in Africa. So while this was "only two work days for her," entire lives were destroyed because she could not even pretend to care. She knows all that, which is why she has decided her next best move is to cast the blame on Fire Chief Kristen Crowley after she chose to ignore the department's warnings of the weather events.

In other words, Bass knew of the risk but chose to ignore it. Subsequently, far too many people lost their lives and homes in one of the most destructive fires in California history. To call her incompetent does not even begin to explain the severity of it.
