We can file this one under "most unsurprising story of the week" A Bath Spa University in the UK denied a scientific study on transgender regret. Not because the study was without scientific merit. No, no, because the study was too touchy for their politically correct sensibilities. Of course.

James Caspian, a U.K. psychotherapist seeking to write a master thesis on transgenders who transition back to their birth gender at the U.K.’s Bath Spa University, explained that he thought it was important to study people who had transitioned and then changed their minds after receiving sex-reassignment surgery because no research has been conducted on this group of people.

The university originally accepted his proposal but changed its mind after they decided it wasn’t politically correct. Caspian even amended his proposal to include transgenders who were not reversing their surgeries but simply choosing to live according to their birth gender. But the university still rejected his study, saying that “engaging in a potentially politically incorrect piece of research carries a risk to the university”

A university shunning a scientific study because it doesn't conform to leftist orthodoxy?

This is leftist fascism at play, folks. The left will do anything they can to keep the ex-tranny demographic under wraps. If the world were to find out the truth about tranny regret, the left's narrative is kaput. So, they'll pretend ex-trannies don't exist and they'll stifle any inquiry into the matter. While claiming to care about tranny feelings.

Leftists only like studies that conform to their worldview. A study that claims everyone is secretly gay? "Yes, please!" One that claims all babies are racist? "Most definitely!" But, if you throw out some studies that show socialist "men" are a bunch of puss-cakes and climate change is likely not man-made? "Begone with your facts and figures, you bigot!"

The left's entire trans narrative is built on trannydom being innate and unchangeable. If that were proven false, they'd no longer be able to force parents to put their kiddos on puberty blockers and the government to fund their sex changes.

Just like with every other issue, the left is putting their ideology over facts and the truth. They know a scientific study would prove them wrong, so they'll do everything they can to keep it from happening.
