Joy Behar and the left have decided to take the percentage in which Trump won and use that as a “mandate” to double down. However, considering Trump made it so that “89 percent of the counties shifted” to the right and increased his support among “Blacks, Latinos, and young voters” that is the last thing the Dems should be doing. However, never underestimate their reluctance to admit that everything they stand for goes against the will of the people.

This is why Stephen A. Smith said what needed to be said, despite him being “no supporter of Trump.”

During a heated exchange, which appeared on social media, the 'First Take' host took aim at Democrats who try to claim that Trump didn't earn a 'mandate' - despite beating Kamala Harris at last year's election.

'The problem is if you're the Democratic party and you lost 49.8 percent to 48.3 percent and you're looking at that 1.5 percent difference. 'That's an excuse for you to say: "What we did really wasn't that bad. We should continue to do that." No, find a new strategy.'

'But in the end, what it comes down to is this: the American people, in their eyes it wasn't about him. They were voting against what the Democrats were throwing in their direction.'

It’s unclear if the Dems will take their failure and use it as a wakeup call but far too many people have used it to double down. Every day more and more people wake up to the left's fear-mongering of fake crises that they supposedly will save everyone. Yet, the more heroic they pretend to be the worse off everyone becomes.

Everything these people stand for is the exact opposite of what the people have “mandated.”

While the left tries to change the status quo in the culture war, defends open borders, and pretends to care about the price of eggs, the American people see right through it. This is exactly why Trump gained support among Black, Latino, and young voters and why the left will continue to lose.
