It's no shocker leftists have a bone to pick with Christendom. Some won't rest until they convince every Christ-follower to skip Sunday school and to use their Bible for rolling paper. They're even going so far as trying to put the kibosh on Ben Carson's White House bible study. Big mistake.

Housing and Urban Development Secretary Ben Carson defiantly responded to two left-wing groups’ opposition to his regular White House Bible studies, saying “I will not stop being a Christian while in service to this country.”

Atheist organization Freedom From Religion Foundation and advocacy group Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington filed lawsuits against HUD and Carson over Freedom of Information Act requests related to the Bible studies.

Carson frequently participates in Bible study sessions with CIA Director Mike Pompeo, Education Secretary Betsy DeVos, Energy Secretary Rick Perry, and Attorney General Jeff Sessions.

[Carson said] "They are fearful that a hot beverage or a bagel may be consumed at the expense of taxpayers or that staff may be coerced to participate in religious activities against their will. First of all, taxpayer funds are not used to support the ministry, and secondly, no staff are involved in the Bible study.”

Those Jehovah-hating ass clowns just learned an important lesson. Thou shalt not screweth with Ben Carson's bible study, lest ye be put in your place.

Things would be different if Benny and his Bible-loving pals were holding a gun to staffers' heads and forcing them to read from Deuteronomy. Or if he were funding his hymnals with the taxpayers' purse. But, that's not what's happening here. Just a small, private voluntary gathering of people, reading a book. Simple as that.

It's funny how leftists have no problem when tax dollars go toward promoting "fat acceptance" or Argentinian clown colleges. But, the second a follower of Big Jeezy quotes scripture in a government building, suddenly every cent of our tax money needs accounting for. Separation of Church and State is a thing, yes. But I fail to see how sitting in a circle and reflecting on the Gospel is coming at any cost to the taxpayer.

Let's be real, the left doesn't care where the tax dollars go. This is nothing more than bitter progressives seeking to hulk smash all things Jesus.
