Leftists like to claim that they aren't 'pro-abortion." They're just... *place market tested code word here that totally has nothing to do with them being afraid of Planned Parenthood or money lost from other pro-Abortion donors here.* This answer from Bernie Sanders however, sounds like it's, well, pretty pro-abortion...

First he went with the "her body, her choice" dodge. Then he pivoted to complaining about Republicans on things that don't have to do with abortion. Bret Baier didn't let up though...

“I guess the genesis of the question is that, you know, there are some Democrats who say after five months, with the exception of the life of the mother or the health of the baby, that perhaps that’s something to look at. You’re saying no?” Baier said.

“I am very strongly pro-choice. That is a decision to be made by the woman, her physician and her family,” Sanders said. “That’s my view.”

Essentially, this even includes partial-birth abortion.

Compare that to way Republicans have been answering the question.

Sadly, this isn't the most pro-abortion thing we've heard this cycle. The honor goes to Chelsea Clinton...who claim she left the church at SIX YEARS OLD over it. Really, it's true. Click the hyperlink. While most six year old girls were busy playing with dolls, Chelsea Clinton was prodding them with forceps.

As far as Bernie goes, listen, this is nothing new. Depending on polling, leftists are sometimes forced to give their pro-abortion agenda a fresh coat of paint. Sometimes they claim that they really don't want federal funding for abortion. Or that they "just want to support the good things that Planned does."

Here's the reality: the feminist-led left has always had one final goal for abortion. It couldn't be simpler. "FREE ABORTION, ON DEMAND. PERIOD." In their own circles, behind closed doors, it's just assumed. When the cameras are on however, they put their Eddie Haskell face on and pretend to care about babies. Or pretend as though they have a vested interest in at least curbing abortion. They don't. They never have.

That's the beauty of Bernie Sanders. For all his faults, he's willing to blurt out exactly what leftists believe, but try to say they don't really believe. Remember when Democrats vehemently fought the moniker of "socialism?" Not Bernie. Remember when the left claimed that they wanted abortion to be safe and accessible, but that an effort to reduce the number of abortions was their goal? Not Bernie. Remember when you were told that "If you like your plan, you can keep your plan"? Not Bernie.

See, at least Bernie is genuine about his awful ideas. The ideas are still evil. Which yes, makes him an evil bastard. But he's a useful evil bastard at that. Just let him run his mouth and take notes.

Oh, and about that "FREE ABORTION, ON DEMAND. PERIOD." Don't take it from me. Take it from this former Planned Parenthood director.
