Bernie Sanders is the face of American Socialism. Never before the Bern has a politician been so obsessed with other people's money. That haggard bridge troll in a cheap suit is out to part every man, woman, and child of America from their fundage by any means necessary. All in the name of so-called fairness. Well, little Bernard disclosed his finances recently and it looks like he had a really good year, raking up a pile of cash well past the six-figure mark...

Bernie Sanders made more than $858,000 in royalties for two new books last year, according to the 2016 financial disclosure the senator quietly filed on Sunday.

And he’s keeping the money.

The disclosure provides new insight into how Sanders’ presidential campaign affected his own personal finances. It was due on May 15, but Sanders failed to file, instead seeking an extension. The book royalties were the most noteworthy new source of income Sanders reported in the election-year filings.

Most of that money, $795,000, comes from Our Revolution: A Future To Believe In, a book Sanders wrote for St. Martin’s Press. Published on Nov. 15, the book included Sanders’ account of the 2016 election. Hardcover copies sold for $27—the average amount contributed to Sanders’ presidential campaign.

Whatever happened to those rich buttholes paying their fair share? Since he's obviously now amongst them, shouldn't 90% of that moolah be going to Uncle Sam. But, I suppose him and his ilk are exempt from the rigorous standards he forces on everyone else. Ever an elitist snob if I saw one.

This is further proof of just how far from the working man Bernie is, despite his claims. Hint: Most of us don't own three houses. Then again, when was he ever in sync with the working man? That would have first required having a real job, outside of "community organizing."

Just to be clear, there's nothing wrong with bringing home piles of cash. Okay? Okay. This is a clear-cut case of leftist hypocrisy at work. Bernie and his money-grabbing comrades are free to earn as much as their greedy little hearts desire. In fact, go for it. We all like making as much money as we can. Here's the catch. The moment one of us plebs has a good year, Bernie and company are inbound at breakneck speeds to tear their wallet out of their hands. All of that "fair share" nonsense comes and bites us. See also the progressive income tax, which makes it very difficult for Americans to amass wealth.

When Bernie wants to keep his own money? Fine. But when Americans want to keep their own money? GREED! CAPITALISTIC GREED! TAX THE ONE PERCENT! FREE COLLEGE. FREE EDUCATION! FREE ICE CREAM.
