Bernie Sanders Has Religious Test for Trump Appointee, Never on Muslims
Bernie Sanders is still busy at work, trying to accomplish his life's goal of warping America into a third-world Socialist septic tank. In his latest act of senile idiocy, The Bern, in between giving depressing commencement speeches, used his position as a Senator to impose a religious test on Christian Trump appointees. For reals...
Democrat Senator Bernie Sanders applies a religious litmus test to Christians in public service positions, but when it comes to applying the same standard to Muslims, the Vermont senator claimed that they should instead be judged by their “views [and] abilities” instead “of their religion.”
Which is a tantamount admission that Bernie Sanders also thinks Islam sucks. It's just not PC to say.
In an exchange expand=1] Wednesday between Sanders and the potential deputy White House budget director Russell Vought—an evangelical Christian—the former Democrat presidential candidate began attacking Vought for his belief in Christianity and went as far to say “this nominee is really not someone who this country is supposed to be about.”
You know what else is not what this country is supposed to be about, Bern? Imposing religious tests. In fact, the founding padres went so far as to ban such a thing in the Constitution. "...no religious test shall ever be required as a qualification to any office or public trust under the United States." But, I wouldn't expect a disheveled Commie dwarf, such as yourself, to be aware of that.
Furthermore, if we're throwing the Constitution on the bonfire, why single out Christians? When you first think of beliefs that might be of concern, there's one religious sect that comes to mind, and it ain't the Lutherans.
There's a pretty big difference between a Christian saying something others might see as mean, and a Muslim bombing or beheading everyone who doesn't share his hatred of pork. If it's truly extremism you're looking for Bernie, simply cast your myopic gaze upon the closest mosque.
This is further proof The Bern is a hypocrite of Tess Holliday proportions. He seeks to part us normal folks of all our hard-earned money, while he pads his bank account with hefty six-figure sums. And he holds Christians to a near-impossible standard with his religious test, while giving terror-supporting Islamophiles a free pass. Please Bernie, do us all a favor. Try to work on your consistency, the next time you're relaxing in one of your spare mansions...
