Texas Gov. Greg Abbott held a briefing with fellow officials on the Uvalde elementary school shooting. Close two twenty children were killed. The officials were there to provide information. Failed presidential and Senate candidate Beto O'Rourke thought it was a great opportunity to make it all about him. Maybe he was jealous Steve Kerr got a viral moment and wanted one, too. Maybe it was for the beto-sexuals who cream themselves when Beto eats steak. Whatever was going through his Beto brain, it's not a good look dude.

This was the scene a few moments ago.

Beto was famously all about confiscating your guns, even bragging about confiscating guns. Then he flipped and opposed confiscating guns because he's running for governor of Texas and doesn't want to lose another race. Now, he's just in catchphrase mode, yelling “You are doing nothing. You are all doing nothing… This is totally predictable."

The mayor of Uvalde called Beto a sick son of b*tch. His beto-stans are worse.

Beto's campaign stunt, of course, did nothing. It doesn't comfort the community that is looking for the latest information. It does NOTHING to advance any plan to see that this never happens again. No dialogue was started. He didn't even make Abbott, his 2022 opponent, look bad.

All that happened was Beto exposed himself to be a sanctimonious douche. The people of Texas know that already.
