Kamala Harris' ridiculous praise for Beyonce's "country" album shows how desperate Dems and the media are for another culture war

Having an opinion on Beyonce putting out a country album is a choice, and I've chosen not to have one. And I still don't. Her cover of "Jolene" was fine. But the sanctimonious, over-the-top praise coming from the White House and the media (but I repeat myself) makes it clear the Left wants a new front in the culture war. So, sure. Why not?
Culture wars are between two sides. One side is New York City-based and likes to use its oversized influence to lecture the rest of America (particularly in the "flyover" states). The other side is the rest of America that wants to be left alone. When we react to not being left alone, the first side says we're the ones obsessed with starting culture wars. Enter Beyonce to save country music, if not create the genre herself.
Kamala Harris took a break from ignoring the border crisis to make the album a race thing.
Beyoncé: Thank you for reminding us to never feel confined to other people's perspective of what our lane is. You have redefined a genre and reclaimed country music’s Black roots.
Your music continues to inspire us all.

And the New York Post had a review claiming country music was dying until Beyonce single-handedly revived the genre. This is according to a New York City writer who sounds like he used ChatGPT to look up generic criticisms of country music.

With legendary trailblazers like Johnny Cash, Tammy Wynette and Charley Pride long gone, we’re left with Walker Hayes and his god-awful Applebee’s jingle.
Maren Morris and Cassadee Pope fled Nashville faster than you could say, “Yeehaw!” to get away from their racist peers.
Spoken as someone who never met a country music fan. Or anyone outside of Manhattan and Brooklyn. Though the Applebee's jingle does suck ass. Fair play there.
The Maren Morris/Cassadee Pope thing refers to them not being able to calm down over Brittany Aldean making a tomboy joke. Morris then quit country music because Oliver Anthony became more popular than her. She has since backtracked claiming that she didn't quit.

The next thing is going to be journalismers creating content claiming that there is "backlash" over Beyonce putting out a country album. The backlash will amount to three random people on X-Twitter who have the same dumb opinion. All that matters is the headline, so that there is an excuse to make every country artist speak out about the "backlash."
Country music is not dying because people who don't like country music have a Beyonce obsession. Calling it a dying medium is absurd when it is dominating the Billboard charts. Morgan Wallen (who the Left tried to politicize) is selling out stadiums across the country. Luke Combs (who the Left tried to politicize) is selling out stadiums across the country.
Zach Bryan, who had every song from his latest album debut in the Billboard Hot 100, is selling out arenas and stadiums as well. And HE'S someone the Left and the Right can find common ground on as well. The Right likes good music. The Left will like that he sided with them in the Dylan Mulvaney/Bud Light BREWhaha. Though he then went and screwed it up by having a conversation with Travis Tritt and discovering "we disagree on some things and agree on some things and it seems the world did not end." Progressives hate that.
Country music fans, most at least, don't care that Beyonce released a record. That's the beautiful thing about music. You can like what you like, not like what you don't like, and move on with your lives.
It's the people who don't like country music using her album for political reasons and as an excuse to dump on people they already don't like. When those country music fans react to being allowed to be left alone, they'll be the ones accused of "culture wars."
