Biden Admin's EV road trip turns epic fail when family calls cops on staffer blocking charging station with gas-powered car

In less than 10 years, if President Joe Biden has his way, Americans will have to buy electric vehicles (EV) if they want a new car.
It was just last Sept. when Biden said that the “Great American Road Trip is going to be fully electrified.”
Too bad that was proven wrong by his own energy department.
Energy Secretary Jennifer Granholm set out on a four-day EV road trip over the summer from Charlotte to Memphis as a way to draw attention to the billions of dollars the Biden administration has pumped into “clean cars” and green energy. However, according to an NPR reporter embedded in the EV road trip, the caravan had trouble charging the cars.
The eco caravan included the luxury Cadillac Lyriq, a Ford F-150 Lightning, and a Chevy Bolt.
During a stop in Grovetown, Georgia, Granholm found that there weren’t enough fast chargers available as one of the four station’s chargers was broken, and others were being used.
One staffer subsequently parked a gas-powered car in a desperate attempt to reserve the only free spot for Granholm.
An innocent family traveling with a baby on this scourging hot day was not having it and resorted to calling the police.
In an attempt to smooth over the situation, staff sent other vehicles to slower chargers, until both the rightfully frustrated family and the secretary had room to charge.
The most ironic thing about “clean cars” is that they are anything but that.
Until something changes, EVs will be powered mainly by natural gas and coals as they are charged with electricity.
Progressive state leaders all across the country are jumping on the EV train. California Gov. Gavin Newsom issued an executive order banning gas vehicles by 2035. Oregon, Massachusetts, and New York have followed in California's footsteps. And Washington state’s politicians said they’d make it happen by 2030.
It is Funny how California wants to pretend it has a power grid capable of charging all those EVs when they can’t even keep the lights on. Just days after Newsom’s gas-powered car ban, he told people not to charge their cars as the state can’t even handle its own energy grid.
If these policies do come to fruition, it will also be at the expense of developing countries. Most mining is done elsewhere, subsequently polluting those countries. Some mining is done by children and some is even done by slave labor.
Talk about environmental racism, huh?
According to the EPA, compared to 1970 vehicles, new cars are 99 percent cleaner, while annual vehicle miles traveled has dramatically increased.
Someone should tell progressives that if it's aintbroken, don’t fix it.
